Be heard, seen, and valued. Be you.
Counselling in Worthing, Littlehampton, or Online.
Calm, confidential sessions to explore whatever feels difficult for you.
My name is Caz and I'm a Humanistic Counsellor.
I support adults (18+) from a wide variety of backgrounds who:
I have particular experience of supporting people to rebuild self-compassion after difficult or harmful relationships, but I can support whatever you want to bring.
My approach is warm, gentle and non-judgemental. I adapt sessions to suit your communication style. Counselling provides an opportunity to experience being heard without the need to perform or pretend.
Before becoming a Counsellor, I worked in management roles in the corporate, public and voluntary sectors. These gave me insight into how workplace environments and pressures can affect wellbeing, alongside strong skills in communication, connection and supporting others - all essential in my current work.
I became interested in therapy after receiving bereavement counselling. The support I received helped me through a very difficult time and taught me a lot about myself. I did a short counselling course out of curiosity and quickly knew I wanted to retrain.
I am registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework. My practice is GDPR compliant.

I offer one-to-one counselling. You can choose short-term support (6-12 weeks) or open-ended, longer-term work, depending on how you feel.
Counselling can help at any stage of life. We all go through periods of unwanted change and we all go through times when we want to change but feel stuck. Talking things through with someone who will really listen without judgement, respect your confidentiality and value your experience can help you develop clarity and coping strategies.
Most of us struggle with two things - external circumstances and our internal beliefs about how things "should" be or how we "should" respond. Counselling can help you understand both - and find steadier ways to respond. We can explore this together. I place no expectations on you - you may want to make changes or to work toward accepting things as they are.

I can see you in person in Worthing and Littlehampton, or online. I provide a free 20-minute introductory telephone call so you can tell me why you are seeking counselling and what you hope to gain from it and to address any questions you may have. Sessions last 50 minutes and are £60 each. I offer a limited number of concessionary spaces for those on a low income. If cost is a barrier, you're welcome to mention this when you get in touch.
